133.13 Acres sold at Leavenheath in Suffolk

Peter Crichton confirms the sale of 133.13 acres of easy working but productive Grade 2 agricultural land in two blocks which was offered with a guide price of £6,500 per acre and sold to a non farmer at a figure within 10% of the guide price.

39.57 Acres sold at Whepstead near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

Peter Crichton also confirms the sale of 37.91 acres of medium/heavy arable land in two blocks and 1.66 acres of woodland offered for sale with a guide price of £6,500 per acre which also sold to a non farmer at a figure close to the guide price.

These sales underline the high level of interest for farmland being received from investors as well as farmers at a time when arable returns have continued to rise.
